A charity institution has announced that it is donating $25 million to help alleviate poverty in China.
The Chino Foundation, which operates three charitable institutions and operates four charitable foundations, announced the donation to CBC News in an open letter to the public.
The letter said the money will go to the Chino National Development Foundation, a charity which is responsible for building schools, hospitals, schools, and other social services in the city of Chongqing.
“It’s a significant gift, given the scope of the challenge and the enormity of the challenges China faces,” said the charity’s CEO, Dr. Lu Wei, who was quoted by CBC as saying the donation is a sign that Chongqin needs more support.
The foundation’s CEO also said the donation will not only help Chongqong but also other poor provinces and regions of China.
“We are committed to supporting the social needs of our people and helping to build up the foundation for the future,” Wei wrote.
“As a foundation, we want to provide assistance to the people in our region, to help those in need, and to provide a voice for the people of our country.”
Wei was also quoted as saying that the donation has already been received and accepted by the foundation.
The donation was announced last week by the Chinos foundation in the wake of a string of devastating earthquakes in the country.
On the heels of the earthquake that struck in May of last year, the foundation said it had received over 2,000 donations of $250 or more, and a total of $300,000.
“The magnitude of the disaster, the devastating nature of the event, and the loss of life has made it even more important for us to make a meaningful contribution,” said Wei.
“This gift will help us build the foundation of our society and our country.
It will give hope and strength to the Chinese people, especially the young generation.”
Wei is a former Chongqincan city official who was recently promoted to the post of Chongjis Vice Mayor.
The institute, which was founded in 1993, has helped over 7,000 families since 1993.
According to the foundation, the Chinas wealth has helped many Chinese citizens.
It also has donated more than $7.5 billion to Chinese humanitarian organizations, including over $5.5 million to the China Medical Relief and Development Fund.
Wei was appointed the president of the foundation in March, 2017, and since then has been given a seat on the foundation’s board.
Wei also has the title of Chino’s Vice Mayor, the city council said in a statement.
The mayor said he is very proud of the China’s contribution to the world.
“Chinatown is a place where people from all walks of life come together, and it is the place where Chongqiong is located, so it is very exciting that we are able to build the Chines first foundation for social welfare and development,” he said.
“I am very happy that Chino has made this important donation to help our people.”
Chino is located in southern China, close to the country’s northern border.
The area is home to many impoverished residents, and has suffered several devastating earthquakes, including the 2010 magnitude 5.1 quake.
More than 60 people were killed and more than 1,000 were injured.
The earthquake caused the death of many people and damaged or destroyed thousands of homes and businesses.
It was also the first to strike the region since the start of the countrys civil war, which has left thousands dead.
